Getting Us to Your Door

What happens after I call?

A licensed plumber answers, not a machine. We ask a few quick questions about what's happening, talk you through anything safe to do straight away, and get a plumber moving toward you. You'll know roughly what to expect before we hang up.

Are you really open 24/7?

Yes, day or night, including weekends and public holidays. Plumbing emergencies don't check a calendar, so neither do we. Call any hour and a real person picks up, not a recording.

Do you work weekends and public holidays?

Every day of the year, no surcharge weekends and no holiday exceptions. A burst pipe on a Sunday gets the same response as one on a Tuesday afternoon.

How does the callback form work?

Leave your name, number and a line on what's wrong, and a plumber rings you back, day or night. It suits anything that isn't quite urgent enough for the phone right now, though calling is always faster if water's already moving.

Pricing, Explained Honestly

Do nights, weekends or public holidays cost extra?

No. You get a fixed price before any work begins, whatever time you call. The price doesn't change because it's 2am instead of 2pm.

Do prices change once the job starts?

No. The price we quote is the price you pay. No exceptions. If something changes once we're inside the wall or under the house, we stop and talk you through it before doing anything more.

How can I pay?

We take the usual card and electronic payment methods on-site once the job's done and you've approved the price. Nothing is charged before you've seen and agreed to the figure.

Do you charge a call-out fee?

No, $0 Call Out Fee, every visit. You're never charged just to have a plumber turn up and take a look.

Bronte Knowledge

Do you work on Bronte's apartments and strata blocks?

Regularly. Bronte's mix of small blocks behind the beach and units near Macpherson Street brings shared stacks, common-property drains and strata approvals into the picture. We're used to working through them alongside houses.

How local are you to Bronte, really?

Bronte is our home turf. We know the pull of Bronte Park and the Baths on a warm weekend, and we're used to the terrain, from the flat streets behind the sand to the gully blocks that climb steeply above it. Salt-air corrosion on foreshore homes is a year-round concern here, not just a summer one.

Which suburbs do you service?

Bronte and the surrounding eastern beaches, including Waverley, Clovelly, Coogee, Bondi and Randwick. If you're near any of these and something's gone wrong, call and we'll tell you straight away if we can get to you.

Do tree roots really block drains around Bronte?

Yes, particularly on the gully-side streets where mature trees and older clay drain lines share the same ground. Roots find the smallest joint and work their way in over years, and a slow drain that keeps coming back is often the first sign.

Licensing, Insurance and Responsibility

What does the Lifetime Labour Warranty cover?

Our labour, unconditionally. If it's not right, we come back. No questions. No cost.

Can I check your plumbing licence?

Yes, always. We're NSW Plumbing Licence #275278C, and you're welcome to check it before, during or after a job. Licensed and insured isn't a claim we expect you to take on faith.

What is safe to try myself before you arrive?

Turning off the water at the meter stops most leaks getting worse. If you smell gas, leave the property and call from outside. Beyond that, wait for us and don't try to fix fittings or pipework yourself.

Who is responsible for a blocked sewer, me or Sydney Water?

It depends where the blockage sits. Everything from your boundary in is your responsibility, while Sydney Water looks after the mains beyond it. We check where the fault actually is before anyone assumes it's on their side, and Sydney Water is the right call for anything past the boundary.
